Project Summary: The Project provided urban development and regional planning services to the Shantou World Trade Center Corporation for a proposed center measuring 1.3 million square meter. It was a mixed use development designed to serve the city of Shantou as its new, international financial and business center.

composed a master plan for the
Shantou World Trade Center.
The major plan
components included 6
high-rise office towers, two
hotels, the region’s primary
financial center, extensive
retail and entertainment,
community support facilities,
and housing encompassing a
broad range of type, size, and
price. When completed, Shantou
World Trade Center will serve
the city of Shantou as a
primary symbol of its
emergence as a truly
international city.
The project’s design
and sophisticated blend of
public and private amenities
will provide both its
residents and visitors with a
quality of urban life
representative of world class
urban development.
