PacMar has its roots in commercial agriculture having evolved from the international agricultural development arm of one of Hawaii's largest agribusinesses, a leader in sugarcane and pineapple production. Today the company has greatly diversified into export-oriented specialty niche production and market crops such as tropical fruits, nuts, root crops, herbs, spices and cut flowers.

PacMar fully recognizes the need to relate livestock production systems to the environmental, social, cultural, traditional and institutional frameworks unique to each situation.  Adding to this, consideration of the technological, political and economic environment, more realistic livestock development plans can be designed.  By drawing upon the experience with livestock production systems in a variety of locations, we strive to customize development plans to meet the special needs of our clients.
